So we just got home from our long week in Concordia. I enrolled, had my dr appt, my mom and I helped my little brother enroll, enjoyed some amazing pizza tonight in Brookville and as of now our pups are fast asleep next to me.
I ended up taking Advanced Digital Imaging m,w,f 9-10; Small Business Management m,w,f 10-11; and Public Speaking monday nights 4-7. Also, we asked a friend of ours who does day care out of her home if she could watch our son instead of some stranger and she agreed for a very reasonable price.
I made the mistake of taking over my brother's interviews and asking all the questions, which I felt horrible for but he actally thanked me. My mom and him came up and we all met at the college and then she took us out for dinner, us meaning allan and I. They headed back to S-town while allan finished up the wood flooring in his parents dining room. I think it looks really good!
Dogs are so happy to be back and able to be in the house on their own bed instead of a cement floor all night. I think they also like it, now that there isn't any other dogs around....their so spoiled!
Oh...dr appt went really well. He just said diabetic test came back great, everything is fine, position is good, a little big but nothing to worry about. He'll be able to check a little better when I go back for my 36 week check up. For the next month, I go every two weeks, then after that, every week until I deliever.
Until next time...

Upcoming week...
So this last week has gone by so fast..My gma was getting ready for carpenters to re-build their porch so she was clearing it off. She slipped and fell off the porch, scraping her knees and hands, and breaking her ankle. She's the type of woman who does everything her self and doesn't think she needs to stay off it...so I've been over there all week trying to make her sit and relax while I help out. The very next day, the men took a lunch break so my gpa took their overweight dog outside to use the restroom, ran up the steps and went head first (b/c there was no porch)...they thought he wasn't going to make it.. when I pulled up, taco (their dog) was on his side with his legs straight out...oh man that porch is cursed! But their both doing much better.. My gma goes back to the dr monday to get a cast and hopefully they won't have to re-break it.
Allan still hasn't made my house shelf but says he'll get to it this week. We did however go garage saleing yesterday morning at 6 a.m. and found the rest of the stuff we needed. A rocking chair the same color of wood as our crib and dresser. I just need to make a cussion for the seat and maybe the back. It was in such good condition. $20-we couldn't pass it up. We also found a play pin we are just going to keep in our car for when we go to the grandparents.
My brother had prom last night at the Steifel Theatre..His tux was white and black with a zebra print tie while his date had a gorgeous zebra print dress...They were so cute..I of course took pictures which are down below!
Our next week consists of leaving for concordia this afternoon, (with all four dogs-we're taking care of allan's parents dogs while their in Europe), tuesday I have my enrollment for the fall semester...I'm thinking public speaking, small business management, personal wellness, and advanced digital imaging, tuesday night we're heading back to s-town, dr appt and lamaze class wednesday, leave right after class for con till friday! Busy Busy Busy

Easter Weekend!
So our Easter was very nontraditional. We didn't have an Easter egg hunt or go to church (which we should have)...but we just had some of my family over for a bbq, then we went and ate dinner with some of allan's family. Went to bingo, and now we're just hanging out in our room. We had a 2 day baby shopping marathon to get everything we had left on our list. We got everything from a comb and brush to a mobile to our first years in the bed sleeper so our little guy can sleep in our bed without getting hurt. We also have our bassinet but for the first couple weeks I want him in with us. Most of the stuff we got is still in boxes but I didn't want to get them out until closer to the date. Thats what all pilled up in the closet, including our winter coats and other things that need to be boxed up and stored away. Besides shelves and the house bookshelf, the room is finished being decorated.
The last pic is the house bookshelf allan is making to go in the room. other than that, shelfs, a play mat (tummy time mat) and a pack n play is all we need. I'm so excited for him to be here. I'm having a hard time pacing myself. But with my torn muscle that only seems to be getting worse, it might be good for me to just be able to relax the next 2 months. Another good note, is that our dogs have been behaving so well lately. A little wining because of the rain when their outside, but inside their so calm...its nice for once to have a quiet house.
We took our tour of the birthing center last week and all I can say is....oh. my. goodness!!! Its so nice! Queen size beds for the women that have their babies vaginally, you can do your labor in the tub..if you have no medicine, they don't have to take the babies out of the room to do anything anymore....like shots, measurments, bath, anything (which is what we want)...unless something is wrong and in that case, they have the nicu across the hallway. I would love to have him in the room 24 hours around. And its all about security now...only 3 people in the room and you have to have a card to get in which we only want immediate family...parents, brothers and sisters, no kids, but no one in until after at least an hour 1/2 after I deliever, depending on the shape I'm in since I'm doing it naturally. Baby J, allan, and I will have magnetic braclets on so we will be the only ones to take the baby out of the hallway...if someone else tries, the whole floor is on lockdown. We also put requirements on our postpardom room....5 people, no kids, no attitudes, and if its river festival, you have to bring me something to eat (haha-that one was just a joke). I think everything is going to go smoothely, lets just keep our fingers crossed.
Until next time....

This has almost nothing to do with anything!
I received all my student loan information that has to be paid back...looks like I'll be getting a job. I'm still not going to work until Baby J is born but I would really like something just on weekends so hopefully my photography picks up. I've had some people interested in family sessions so it looks like the next month, I'll be trademarking my name, ordering business cards, starting a separate account, etc. We've been getting a lot more sleep lately..don't know if we're just sleeping thru our dogs moving around or if they are actually being good dogs for once. Other than that I didn't have anything....just bored, sitting at home. Here are some freelance work that I found on our computer. (to add a little extra to this entry)

Until next time....

Our unexciting weeking!
So this weekend was pretty uneventful.
Friday, Allan got off work early b/c of our sono, ran around town like a couple of crazies giving everyone their pictures that wanted one. Stop by to see my mom at work, and got her in trouble for staying so long. haha. Decided to go see Fast and the Furious 4, but never did. Allan fell asleep at 8.
Saturday, Allan fixed some tires on his uncles trailer/truck (didn't really pay attention to that part), loaded up our car full of artwork and plants for my cousins who were moving out to brookville. Headed out there, unloaded, allan fixed my brothers tire so he could drive to con to apply for jobs, watched 30 min of Tough Love (a tv show I'm obsessed with). On our way back home, my brother's friend called and said he couldn't get his car started so we drove out to the middle of nowhere, 45 min later, realized he forgot to put gas in it. silly kids. Stayed in and watched movies the rest of the day.
Sunday, Allan and I laid in bed till about 2 p.m. just watching movies and talking. Went up to the hospital, ran by my gmas to say hi, met up with allan's parents for dinner. I crawed back into bed while allan went up to the hospital again for 30 min. Came home and laid in bed hoping to get some sleep only to find that one of our dogs is sick...again. Allan got about 3 hours of sleep while I got about 5.
Like I said pretty uneventful...oh the muscle I pulled over a week ago, is at its peak right now. I can barely walk. My gma and I are going to look at prego back braces today...
I guess I didn't talk much about my sono in the last entry. We decided he has allan's nose and my lips. Not a whole lot of hair yet but she said if we had hair, he def will. I had long, black hair...this may be t.m.i but when I was coming out, the dr played with my hair by wrapping it around his fingers. I know gross, but kinda cool. Allan on the other hand, had little hair and it was pretty light when he was younger. We've both decided, we want him to have my hair!!! He's 3 lbs, 1 ounce. and a little overweight. He was only supposed to be 2 1/2 lbs, but thats ok...other than that...we had a lot of fun that day just being able to watch him!
