The last pic is the house bookshelf allan is making to go in the room. other than that, shelfs, a play mat (tummy time mat) and a pack n play is all we need. I'm so excited for him to be here. I'm having a hard time pacing myself. But with my torn muscle that only seems to be getting worse, it might be good for me to just be able to relax the next 2 months. Another good note, is that our dogs have been behaving so well lately. A little wining because of the rain when their outside, but inside their so calm...its nice for once to have a quiet house.
We took our tour of the birthing center last week and all I can say is....oh. my. goodness!!! Its so nice! Queen size beds for the women that have their babies vaginally, you can do your labor in the tub..if you have no medicine, they don't have to take the babies out of the room to do anything anymore....like shots, measurments, bath, anything (which is what we want)...unless something is wrong and in that case, they have the nicu across the hallway. I would love to have him in the room 24 hours around. And its all about security now...only 3 people in the room and you have to have a card to get in which we only want immediate family...parents, brothers and sisters, no kids, but no one in until after at least an hour 1/2 after I deliever, depending on the shape I'm in since I'm doing it naturally. Baby J, allan, and I will have magnetic braclets on so we will be the only ones to take the baby out of the hallway...if someone else tries, the whole floor is on lockdown. We also put requirements on our postpardom room....5 people, no kids, no attitudes, and if its river festival, you have to bring me something to eat (haha-that one was just a joke). I think everything is going to go smoothely, lets just keep our fingers crossed.
Until next time....
