So today we got Chris moved in....bought groceries, necessities, and overall had a great time. We...allan, me, mom, chris, morgan, and her mom all drove up this morning, unloaded what we had, did a quick wal-mart run, went out to eat, headed back to his appt to do dishes and unpack everything while chris and morgan went to wal-mart...again...and got groceries. Two nights ago, in the night before chris signed the lease, his roomate backed out so instead of chris coming up with 275, he had to come up with 450 which ended up being ok but would've been nice to know before hand.
It was my second hott day while i've been pregnant...but today was so much worse than the last. I can tell when I need to take a break and lay down in the air conditioner...i get an attitude and crabby with everyone...that hit me about 2 pm today. It doesn't bother me, having an attitude with people...i mean they would be nasty too if they've gained 50 lbs and felt like they were "peeing" razor blades....Thats what its felt like lately....it think it will be any day now! My mom and the dr said thats normal, its just him getting into postition. Other than that, I love being able to feel him move all day!
So we're home, ate dinner, watching a movie, and heading to bed! I think I get a pedi tonight!!!!

T.M.I.
So i've come to terms with my stretch marks...i figure their there for a reason...a reason I don't like but the way I see it is that my body was smaller before I got pregnant and that actually makes me feel good!
Dr appt this week didn't go too well....my dr was up at the hospital delivering a baby and they overbooked the next two days so coming back wasn't really an option. I should've however just skipped this appt and waited till next week....i'll do a list just so i remember everything....
*lobby full
*loud lady
*bitchy lady
*waited an hour
*slapped me
*poked me
*squeezed my babies head
So i got there and the lobby was completely full...one seat open! the power had went out so they rescheduled everyone to come back in the afternoon (which was when my appt was), then as everyone started showing back up....the dr was called away to deliever a baby..not really a big deal, b/c if I was in labor, i would want him there no matter what.
While I was waiting, there was a very loud lady and she was complaining she had a $500 bill and they wouldn't see her until she paid it...She asked, "well can I at least get my prescription?" the nurse said no, they don't just write up meds for anyone...she started yelling about what was she supposed to do all weekend...so I was thinking it was something really serious for like siezures or for her baby or something. the nurse looked at her and said, try using a condom....the lady goes off again saying she doesn't use condoms and she wasn't getting a depo from the health dept. b/c she gained 60 lbs. last time she did that.....at this point everyone is staring and i'm sure thinking what i was thinking.....KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED! surprizing as all this was...her baby was only 7 weeks old....gross! I would not be having sex that soon after having a baby!
The next lady I watched came in and was complaining she had to wait and got really pissy with the receptionist and they just let her on back, she came back out about 5-10 min later, made an appt and left....at this point I had been waiting at least a half hour longer than her so I was starting to get a little pissed! I waited a total of an hour to see another dr who I will never see again.....
I got undressed like they told me to, cuz they were supposed to be checking my cervix again...the dr comes in, can barely stand up so he's holding onto my legs which are sticking straight out at this point...and its killing my ankles...asked me some silly question and when I answer him, he slaps my stomach...right where my babies butt is, it was so hard, it stung the entire visit....then when he checks for the heartbeat, he does it on the opposite side as my reg dr does it...obviously is having a hard time finding it, so instead of moving the doppler, he just pushes it in even further....i'm quessing this thing was over an inch into my side....Then he was too "uncomfortable" to check my cervix so he puts his hand in a U position and just pushes up from way down below telling me if it hurts, tell him to stop and he will...well i did and he didn't....he says oh that was his head and its not down far enough to check you so come back next week......and walks out (oh after asking me about my nipples!!!-something I don't think a sub dr should even ask me).....leaving me there with gunk on my stomach, naked from the waist down, and of course alone with no advice for the next week....kinda awkward. So if my dr isn't there next week, I will be the bitchy lady who says I'll come back when he's there and only when he is there!
On a good note, *my radishes sprouted this morning. I went out to water and seen little greens coming up! and I'm pretty sure they aren't weeds....i'm so excited
*Baby J is still moving around, doen't hurt anymore than normal, which is at all. Got a new 4th of July outfit i've been wanting..Allans co-worker Janette got it for us!
*Got my stickers for our favors to hand out up at the hospital....there are only 30...so its first come, first serve. their so cute...i can't wait!
*Walter, our new dog, is fitting in better than I thought he would...i always go thru this period after the first night thinking we should get rid of them b/c our dogs don't really get along with them....at first pb and kellie completely ignored them and had an attitude towards me.
first night, Walter went to the bathroom on the back porch, but it wasn't too bad..
the second night, didn't potty in the house, wanted to play more the the other dogs.
the third night, wanted to play, kellie came around and let him lay on her (usually where pb does, so pb was in the corner, sulking...poor guy!) overall, he's pretty house trained....scared of doorways which is odd but the other dogs are getting used to him, so thats good!!! i think it may work out!

We're going to load his stuff up tonight in a 40 ft horse trailer haha(all we had..well his g/f had), head over to tescott to eat really good food at a tiny bar there. Then early tomorrow morning, we head out to con, get him unpacked, and go shopping for last minute stuff!
*Sunday its to the lake with our new "bigger" family! Walter loves the water and when we fill his water bucket up outside, he sticks his whole head in the water and then tries to climb into the bucket! So we're gonna head out to Kanopolis and see if he likes to swim...hopefully we get 1 out of 3 dogs that like it....pb and kellie absolutely hate the water....when we start the tub or turn on the sprinkler, they go running!
I'm running on and on, but i've been so lonely and bored the last couple days, its insane! Guess I'll go relax with my puppies who are laying on my bed (pb and kellie-their still my puppies) and shhhh don't tell allan i let them in the house!

so...we're crazy!
This morning i read in the paper mastidors for $150. I txt'd allan and he said he would think about it....we decided no! But the lady called back and said $50. So now we have pb, kellie, and walter! (maybe-he doesn't come to it so we'll see). Walter is allan's shop dog and I WILL NOT be taking care of him. I can handle pb and kellie at home, but i refuse to train another. Allan wanted Ben so bad a couple months ago and has regreted it so bad so this is allan's present and allan's responsibility! He's all black, his ears look brown in the sun but mainly black...born March 3rd, is very cute and loveable! so if it doesn't work out, it will for somebody we know!!!

to sum up our weekend....
So it seemed to me like this weekend drug on forever and ever..i'm sure for allan to have an extra day off, would've been nice...We were hoping to go into labor either friday or saturday that way allan could have 10 days off with me and the baby before he starts getting a pay cut! But guess he likes to play hide and seek! over the weekend we....
went out to dinner and to a movie
helped clean out an old ladies house in Brookville
went to concordia
seen a lot of friends we haven't seen in awhile!
We seen Night and the Museum 2-it was pretty good. I liked it more than the 1st one. Surprizingly Robin Williams isn't in this one as much as the other. Downside-it was 2 hours long and when your in a theatre full of younger kids...not a good idea to have a movie that long.
An older lady who owns a house in Brookville was cleaning it out...we (Allan) helped clean out some of the basement. She pretty much said we could have anything we wanted out of her house....and most of it was new and never opened so I got TONS of baking sheets, pie/cake pans, bread pans, frosting spreaders, etc...Allan got a few things but not as much as he wanted!
We went to Con Monday for memorial day and had some great food. We also went to the cemetary to see/clean up/decorate my brother's grave! I was so grateful allan thought of this!
We also hung out with some friends sat night and monday afternoon. N&P had some other friends over so we went to catch up before it was too late....We called G&C monday to see what they were up to and they thought we were calling to tell them we were in labor! haha so we went over there and had an amazing time!!!
Oh.My.Goodness...i almost forgot, I got my garden planted......4 rows of corn, 2 rows of squash and carrots, 1 row of onion, green onion, radishes, cucumbers, and 8 tomato plants! I can't wait....
I still go to the dr. every wednesday to get my cervix checked...hopefully tomorrow I will of made some progress! I want him out NOW!!!

So these are what we're putting up above the crib...The second pic is closest to what it will look like at a finished product...obviously the unpainted wood pieces i haven't started on yet.. and the letters aren't on them b/c we don't know a name yet...the longest name on our list has 7 letters so thats why there are 7...and no thats not a hint, we just wanted to have the most in case...

Wal-Mart workers
I absolutely cannot stand high school kids who are cashiers at walmart...it drives me crazy.
reasons:
1. they think they know everything
2. they are stuck up and ignore you when you try to talk to them
3. their too busy convincing their manager to let them on break when your trying to pay and get out of there
4. they pay no attention to their surroundings and look off into space most of the time
no wonder they installed those self do it machines....oh and don't get me started on those
So i ran to walmart real quick yesterday to get a paint brush for my name thing (baby room), ended up getting a cart full. So i had paid and was trying to load my cart back up...the dumb girl was leaning on the swivel thing so i couldn't turn it....i leaned over to get my milk (which is hard enough to pick up as it is)...i'm in between two of those black metal posts that hold the bags, when she says oh let me help and swings it around, running one of the metal posts into my stomach...not looking down to see what was in the way, she says oh its stuck on something and keeps pulling at it....i stand up...in shock (trying to lean over, hold a gallon of milk, just got hit in the stomach...twice) saying "yea-my baby". she says nothing and goes to the next customer.....
and this is why i hate going to walmart....i started thinking i would just go to dillons from now on...but i'm slowly going to have to make a transition....i am secretly addicted to walmart. they have everything under one roof....food, arts and crafts....sometimes, really cute singlets (onesies-allan called them a singlet one day, and we haven't looked back-haha). And they take most of my coupons!

Dr. Appt
So allan and I went to the dr today and....i'm not dilated yet and actually my cervix is pretty thick! He says I'll most likely go until full term. Everything looks good. This may be t-m-i but last night I was shaving my legs...and I noticed stretch marks...no not on my stomach, not on my theighs, where they've been the last 2 weeks, but my butt.....well close to it...kinda on my hips. I knew it was going to happen...i mean when someone gains 42.8 lbs, its bound to happen...but seriously my butt?!? Oh and yes...i'm up to 155.8...seeing that I almost peed my pants in that very hallway. The closer and closer I get, the closer and closer I am to deciding I want an epidural. Allan knows what I really want and keeps explaining why I don't want medicine but the other night I had a few contractions...and oh my goodness...I wanted an epidural then.
He's almost done with the book shelf...just painting left. It would've been done last night...but we have to re-do our plumbing...yea no laundry for me (and that should be a good thing..but...we're running out of clothes and when I try to do laundry, our house smells like sewer!) Its hopefully getting fixed in the next couple days...When we bought this house, they implied "almost" everything was new! seems like everything that wasn't, has gone bad on us. And our plumbing is something that just can't wait. I need to be able to do laundry everyday! Also I have to paint the wooden squares for our babies room..(for his name). I'm doing blue and brown with cute blue, green, and brown ribbon. Its going to look cute. Hard to explain for hopefully I'll have a pic of it soon...and no-not with the name on it. We're not doing that until later!
I did do a small load of laundry this morning...ok allan did. And we are officially out of hangers for the baby room. Allan's sister is bringing more for us...we only use blue and green from Babies R Us so I can start hanging more clothes up....thats one thing this kid is going to have....lots of clothes. We picked up two more outfits for him to wear at the hospital...hehe. I had to, their so cute!....and allan didn't say no to them either.....
ok i'm ranting...i just wanted to update on the appt..but one last thing. We're wanting to have a meet and greet lunch thingy at our house a couple weeks after the baby is born...hopefully that will keep people out of our house for two weeks just so we can get established! I found a really cute recipe for it...a desert of course...and then I was thinking just punch! nothing too big..i'm sure by then, I'll want everything simple...just a little get together for people to meet him!!!

our friends...
Our feathered friends will most likely be gone by tomorrow....allan went to "balance" their nest on the back of our fence. Don't know if he actually thought this would work but it fell...with 3 little eggs in it..supposedly they alienate the nest if a human touches it so thats all we were trying to do. I hope they didn't hatch but in a way I do...b/c they wouldn't have to suffer thru a cold night. I was also kinda hopping if another bird saw them in there, they would keep them warm, but the birds are still on the fence...i do hope they leave soon. I would like to get started on my garden tomorrow! I helped my mom pick her green onions yesterday and they smelt soooo good. I think thats what got me all excited! I created a flyer for my senior portrait special this fall...i think its super cute...I just hope I get some appointments. Let me know what you think....

I'm back...
So i'm not going to do asparagus, they take way to long to harvest. But we did decide on pureeing our own baby food and freezing it. So we will be planting....tomato, garlic, green and white onion, potatoes, carrots, sweet corn (maybe cucumber or zucchini, beats, and pumpkin). obviously we want to can salsa for us! We are trying to be more economically friendly but saving money on food. I'm breastfeeding, not only to save money but to bond. (and hopefully loose my baby fat).Not only will we be freezing veggies, I will too be freezing breastmilk so he can have it longer. I'm only breastfeeding for 4 months, then its a bottle. You can also add breastmilk to his baby food and since breastmilk can last up to 12 months in the freezer, he'll "hopefully" have it for awhile.
I would like to back to my old size in 6 months, and get into shape (like I was in H.S.) in a year. crossing my fingers, we don't get pregnant again...at least not until my body is established to something healthy. haha. oh about our birds in the back yard...we plan to move their nests tomorrow night and maybe they'll leave!!! my gpa says they wont stop attacking until you touch their nests.
Baby front.....i've been sick all weekend. It started in the last week, I would get sick in the middle of the night. Then friday night is started getting to the point where I couldn't breath but I felt like I was going to be sick and couldn't do anything (my body wouldn't throw it up-and no way was I sticking my finger down my throat). I thought things were getting better, but its gotten a lot worse today. I'm trying not to make too big a deal out of it. The baby is still moving so thats good. When I called my dr friday evening, the dr on call said I probably have heartburn (even tho it wasn't in my chest...at all, just in my throat) and that if it doesn't go away or I start to have contractions, go to the ER and get checked for oxyentation, which my brother in law says isn't even a word. I was thinking it had something to do with the baby getting oxygen but he's actually been moving more today than he has for the last two weeks. Friday night, Allan stayed in Con to help with his parents flooring..I drove up Sat with my brother to look for houses/apt..whatever we could find. We found one! Its not perfect but its super clean, new windows, nice size kitchen and.....all bills paid, which is good for two teenage boys. We got to meet up with one of Allan's friends who just got back from Iraq...hearing his stories were really scary..i have no idea how his wife deals with it. But allan is going back tonight to hang out with him again....
We decided to get rid of the birds that have taken over our backyard. They dive bomb me when I take the dogs out, terrorize the dogs by walking on the outside of the pin, and its just not fun! I've wanted to start my garden since the beginning of April and I've finally have had enough. We are getting rid of them so I can start planting. I'm going to do asparagus, green onion, white onion, garlic, tomato, sweet corn...and I think thats all for now...i'll most likely add more and I know weird mixture, but its what we'll eat. I would also like to do carrots and freeze them so I can mash them up for the baby. I'll be back shortly...have to see my gma!

So yesterday was Chris' graduation. We had so much fun! He did the Big Mac Rap on stage in the middle of the ceremony with some friends-so funny! I fell...in a dress....in front of 300 people! I was squatting next to one of my brothers friends (another senior in the first row), went to stand up and didn't quite make it. Landed on my but then my back in front of everyone. My other brother was in the bleachers across the entire gym and seen it. I went ahead of time to reserve seats and got the entire first row and half of the second so the only people that got a glimpse of my undies were my family---thank goodness! And yes! they seen them! Allan cooked the bbq chicken for the party and everyone went crazy over it. Chris got a lot of cool stuff to take to school next year and a nice little chuck of change, that will most likely be gone by today! I got a ton of photos...which is one thing I regret about when I graduated...I was too stuborn to take any at all so that made me really happy he was all for it! but don't have time to upload them now so i'll do it later today!!!

Ouch!!!
So i had my dr appt and all he said was that everything looked fine, I'm right on schedule. There's a little protein in my urine which is a symptom for pre-eclampsia. We'll know more in 2 weeks when I go back to have my cervix checked for the first time (ah!)....Then!...later that night, I couldn't sleep b/c I started having Braxton-Hicks contractions. they stopped after awhile then started again a little after I woke up. Haven't had them since but I'm trying to do a lot of walking. We don't want him unhealthy, but we so badly want him here! So like I said we'll see if I'm dialated in two weeks, then we'll start a weekly visits.
Yesterday was crazy! Started out with doing an 1 1/2 hrs. of grocery shopping for chris graduation party, (oh-he's back from florida-don't know if i mentioned he left, but it was for his senior trip) met up with my mom for lunch, went to wal-mart with my brother for an hour to get last minute things, and some pics developed from his trip that didn't turn out. But i did manage to get all his friends pics online so he has a little to look back on. Came home, did laundry, dishes, watched a movie with my brother (on and off), watered all my plants and the backyard, fed the dogs, made dinner...Mushroom Pork Chops, Au Gratin Potatoes, Stuffing, and Pumpkin Pie. Weird combo but it's what the belly wanted. And what belly wants-belly gets! ok so this is where my Ouch! comes in....
I was leaning above the stove not thinking it was on to put some recipes I had just gotten off the internet away, and leaned too far over...or belly is just getting too big. I burnt my stomach on a pan and now have huge strawberry looking birth mark an inch away from my belly button. I've loaded it up with burn medicine...I've been fortunate not to have any stretch marks (on my stomach), and I really don't want this to scar! () around stomach b/c 2 days ago, I found 2 stretch marks on both theighs...their only 1/4 of an inch thick and dr said they'll go away, but I screamed when I saw them.
I don't have a pic of my burn but I did get some of my flowers.
The first is my sunflower plant that just sprouted the other day and the second and third is my turtle plant!
Tonight we decorate for Chris' party and start cooking the chicken. Then early tomorrow, Allan and I are in charge of picking up the cake and ice....loading up the rest of the food, his gift, our grill (if my dad doesn't come get it tonight), heading out to Brookville, and having some fun!!!!!!

Bored....
So I'm just plain bored....I have a dr appt today but not too excited, just a check up...i'm going to talk about medicine though-what my options are, if i end up wanting something.
I planted some flowers yesterday in a huge pot my mom gave us last year. all the flowers from the year before were dead and weren't coming back so I repotted it. Also, my strawberry plants are not looking too good. I also have a plant in a turtle pot, we don't know the name of the plant so we just call it our turtle plant, but anyways, a flower sprung up out of it yesterday. Yah! Last year we planted some bushes and hibiscus flowers in our front yard, only two bushes survived so last night we dug all that up and started fresh...again! we just laid butterfly wildflowers just to make it easy on us....thats been my life the past coupld days!
My little cousin smashed his pee-pee in the toilet lid two nights ago and it just made me think of how we're going to be going through that in a coupld years. I'm so excited but so scared at the same time. We have two more shelves to put up in the baby room, paint our house shelf and WE.ARE.DONE!!! Thinking about what all we've done in that room in the last year is exhausting. Going from a panelled wall, ripping all that out, painting and decorating for a spare room to find out a month later, we were pregnant. We honestly thought we wouldn't be able to get pregnant. I was on birth control for a year to get my cycle regular and it messed with all my hormones. Dr said, it would be very hard to conceive and that most women don't concieve after being on the depo for around, if at all, four years. So we had no clue this was coming. But we are so blessed it has, and that it has gone so well.
I'm still debating whether two classes, a newborn, and doing pics on the side is going to be too much to handle. Allan says I can do it, but I've just been thinking a lot about it. Guess we'll see how the birth goes, and after that if I think its too much to do, I'll drop one class! Not much else to report, like I said, I'm just really bored!

Our weekend!
So this weekend was so crazy busy! Allan surprised me Friday with beautiful flowers, dinner, and a movie...Fast and the Furious 4 which we've been dying to see! Also Friday was May Day so we made and delivered our baskets. We only made four (well five but we ended up wanting one) So pretty much just parents got them. They came with chocolate cookies, a poem about May Day, either vegetable or flower seeds, a garden label and it all came in a recyclable flower pot for when their seeds end up getting too big!
Saturday was my gma's bday so I got chosen to make the cake. 3 layer chocolate on chocolate. We made her wear the sombrero like they do in the Mexican restaurants. Everyone loved the food (steak, baked beans, pasta salad, and au gratin potatos)..and the cake of course. It was also a special day b/c we got to meet my little brother's new girl friend. She seems really nice and mom really liked her. We got back to town and went to the park to see the ducks. We did this the other day with our dogs (bad idea-well not too bad, but lets just say we'll go by ourselves from now on). Allan scared them all away except for two which I think one was sick (his eyes were all matted shut and he had lost some feathers and was bald in spots-I stayed away) and the other was his wifey. They didn't leave each other alone even when people came up to them. I felt so bad...
Sunday-today-we went to the Kansas Sampler Fesitval. Ate some good food and got to hang out with my mom for a few hours. It was really fun but I didn't want to haul my camera around so no pics of that even though half way thru I begged allan to go get it, but he didn't. Oh but I'm so sick and tired of people looking me up and down like they know me and that I'm just some young girl who got knocked up...I was married before we concieved! One lady even pushed me out of her way in the bathroom....and the festival was not that busy to be pushing people around. Allan and my mom were noticing it too and started getting upset so we didn't stay much longer.
The rest of the night, I think we'll just hang out...allan is mowing the yard and we'll probably head to bed early...its been a very long weekend.
